Curb Appeal
Begin with the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Inspect the outside of your home from the view of a passerby. What do you notice first? What awesome features seem waiting to be noticed?
Acknowledging this helps us to choose what plan of action we can use to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't pretty on the outside with refreshed paint and colorful garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers picture themselves watching a movie in your living room, unwinding in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you achieve this by suggesting changes that highlight your home's features.
I'll help you eliminate anything that gives the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Knickknacks, sentimental items, family photos, and play time works of art should get stored away too. We'll simplify the decor of house. Disheveled or cluttered places make your home look smaller and buyers have a more difficult time seeing themselves living there.
Every room gets a once-over. Changes that directly affect your dollars include fixable like furniture pieces that should be removed, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Potential buyers like to see a house that invites them inside. Decor that could be "loud" should be put away in order for your property to garner mass appeal at the open house.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready for the Open House, because everything comes together to create a picture of what buyers can envision after they choose to buy your house. Lighting is critical and we'll open curtains, and create light where needed to show off your place. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a nice fragrance circulates from every room. We'll include cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your loveseat and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home. |
